It is a sequel to Toriyama's original Dragon Ball and follows Son Goku as he faces even more powerful foes. After defending the Earth against the destructive deity Beerus, and having attained the power of a god, Goku and his friends end up traveling to other universes to protect their own. The Galactic Patrol, policemen of the universe, then enlists the help of Goku and his friends to help recapture a dangerous fugitive named Moro.

Together with his new allies and friends, Senku's Kingdom of Science engages in a war with the Tsukasa Empire, ultimately emerging victorious and affirming themselves as a force to be reckoned with. After the victory, they discover that Senku's adopted father had left precious metals which can be used as catalysts to mass-produce revival fluid in the nearby island which is now inhabited by a tribe known as the Petrification Kingdom, who possess the device used to petrify the world so long ago. Production[edit] Riichiro Inagaki first began working on Dr. Stone with the initial idea of creating a protagonist that was considered a relatively normal character unlike many others within the genre. He decided that his best approach with creating Senku was to create a character that was ambitious and chose to actively push themselves through hard work in order to fulfill their goals. [3][4] He also wanted to create a character that closely resembled the character Agon Kongo from his own manga serialization Eyeshield 21 in terms of personality and characteristics and felt that it was appropriate for the chosen setting. [5] Inagaki was personally fascinated by the topic of science as a child and sought to create a science-based story for entertainment purposes that also featured common themes and messages that would be compelling for the audience. [3] In regards to influences, Inagaki stated that Video Girl Ai was a series that had a significant impact on the story's development. [3] Inagaki works remotely with his illustrator Boichi in which the former sends his own created storyboards to the latter through his own editor. [4] By the time the pair began working on the series, Inagaki was already quite familiar with Boichi's work as an artist and initially struggled with expressing his ideas for his collaborator to illustrate, often times being uncertain about how to draw some of Senku's inventions and how to make them feel impressive. [6] While developing the setting for the series, Boichi grew captivated imagining how to create the look of a futuristic Japan set 3700 years after humanity had turned to stone.

3. Sendō attempted to block a follow-up punch, however it was Ippo's Sakki. Ippo then landed a Gazelle Punch, breaking Sendō's guard. Ippo then launched a Dempsey Roll, hitting Sendō until he went down. Ippo witnessed as Sendō got up on the count of six, looking at him until Sendō fell over on the referee's shoulder at the count of ten, resulting in Sendō losing his title and Ippo becoming the JBC featherweight champion. Ippo posing with his newly acquired belt. With Ippo still not understanding the situation, Kamogawa directed Ippo's attention to Sendō. After Ippo thanked Sendō, Sendō wished to meet him in the ring again for a third rematch. Ippo received his JBC featherweight belt and raised his arms in joy as he becomes the champion. The camera crew then asked the champion for a pose. When Ippo posed, Hachi appeared in the ring and posed with him as the picture gets taken. Now a handsome yet narcissistic high school student, Masamune is determined to exact revenge—he will have Aki fall madly in love with him and ultimately reject her the next time they meet. To his surprise, Masamune discovers he has transferred into Aki's school. Setting his plan into motion, Masamune first begins to form a relationship with the ''Brutal Princess'' but, despite his efforts, fails miserably at his initial attempts. Shockingly, when Masamune finally progresses towards his vengeance, he receives a mysterious letter addressing him by his old nickname. Unless Masamune discovers the sender's identity, his plan is doomed before it even starts! [Written by MAL Rewrite] StudioSILVER LINK. SourceManga ThemesHaremSchool DemographicShounen 6.
If you're a 13 year old teen, new to anime, and you're into things like tokyo ghoul, owari no seraph and stuff, you'll probably enjoy it. On the other hand, if you're already a long time anime watcher, it'll feel like more of the same recycled stuff - basically a very mediocre experience that'll bore you
Story 6/10
Cliché "I will kill all the titans/vampires/dragons" plotliine that has been reused a thousand times. The author decided to add the most bullsh*t magical time travel plot no jutsu into the . midst in order to make MC super OP right off episode 1 (but considering your typical shonen with dumb sh*t powerscaling, he'll still get his ass kicked somehow).
There's also some dumb plot points further down the line which I won't spoil but it's ironic how he goes through so much to save the girl and then just abandons her after emotionally crushing her lol
Art 6/10
I mean, it's not bad, but it's definitely not spectacular - definitely not on the level of ufotable, studio WIT or MAPPA shows. Sometimes the characters' faces/eyes are off by just a tiny bit, to the point where it becomes uncanny valley material - that was probably what bothered me the most
Characters 6/10
Edgy MC who wants to "Kill all the dragons" but has the personality of a wooden board, classical precious bubbly friend who gets relegated to side character status, another girl who also wants to "Kill all the dragons", random crazy b*tch, classical evil villain - it's nothing noteworthy
Pacing 6/10
I have no fcking clue how they managed to turn 1 single chapter of the manga into a 40+ minutes episode. Wait no, in fact, I do know how - by needlessly stretching the non-existent plot for 30 minutes and showing us over and over again the same cutscene of the girl dying/MC screaming. They used her death scene so much that I even started laughing after a certain point.
I understand that they were trying to build up the characters to make us care about what was going to happen, but they completely failed at it, so it just became a drag
Voice acting 6/10
Nothing spectacular or noteworthy.
