Another major issue is how none of the side stories leave any real impact on our main duo. The only thing of note in most of these is how Hyakkimaru gets his body parts back.

The downside so far is the forced plot armor where ordinary people suddenly get stronger, and unrealistic reaction where the MC Daughter saw dead bodies but she didn’t have a breakdown or puking, impossibly calm for normal teenager unless she was a psycho murderer or something similar.
