I fell in love with every single character and the villain was so intriguing I had to read the manga (Japanese comic style story. ) Plus usually I worry about the appropriateness of the shows I watch and I am proud to say the violence wasn't over the top for the situation and it was perfect for anyone else over 12 so you don't have to worry about gross profanity or stuff like that. This show is fantastic in so many ways and I urge you to watch it and keep in mind season two comes out April 2017. ) Compared to the other home consoles of the time, the NeoGeo AES was a beast. Under the hood, the AES featured two CPUs: a 16-bit Motorola 68000 main processor running at 12MHz and a Zilog Z-80A backup processor running at 4MHz. Even though the system's main CPU was "just" 50 percent faster than the 68000 processor found in Sega's Genesis console, the NeoGeo AES also had the benefit of specialized audio and video chipsets. A custom video chipset allowed the system to display 4,096 colors and 380 individual sprites onscreen simultaneously--compared to 64 simultaneous colors and 80 individual sprites for the Genesis --while the onboard Yamaha 2610 sound chip gave the system 15 channels of CD-quality sound. Seven of those channels were reserved specifically for digital sound effects. "Situating the Shōjo in Shōjo Manga: Teenage Girls, Romance Comics, and Contemporary Japanese Culture". In MacWilliams, Mark (ed. ). Japanese Visual Culture: Explorations in the World of Manga and Anime. Routledge. pp. 329–334. Maybe that's because of the lack of a big problem to captivate, even if the moments I was actually watching it didn't bother me. It may be because watching an episode gives the impression as if we already knew everything, even if the work is running away from clichés. Perhaps the lack of cliffhangers at the end of episodes sometimes makes a lot of difference. I'm not sure what the exact reason for this work's problem is, which despite being great in some ways is tiring in others.
I believe it would have worked much better if I had seen it dubbed. For this anime specifically I also recommend watching several episodes at once, as it makes it less exhausting than watching it weekly. This is unfortunate, as it is such a beautiful anime in so many ways. Reviewer’s Rating: 6 What did you think of this review?
