castlevania nocturne alucard okashi na tensei 08 vostfr meaning of dreams

The old man conveniently shows up as a deus ex machina, and his first instinct is to chisel the rock and that lets Dororo get out of there, making this problem all the more aggravating. In the second half of the show, Hyakkimaru somehow knows where an important character is and tracks them down offscreen, not once, but twice despite there being nothing presented to the audience or to Hyakkimaru himself that could feasibly allow him to track them down. In episode 15, a village is consumed by fire and it’s blamed on an underground oil spill reacting to a moth demon randomly crashing onto a watch tower with a torch which subsequently exploded, except there’s no way it could have affected the oil in order to cause the fire to consume the village. The show also constantly beats you over the head regarding how tragic things are, and it often has the narrator or character reiterating what they’re doing. Apart from one spoiler-heavy moment a bunch of characters could have easily avoided if they had any sense of urgency, these are the only real big issues I can think of regarding issues with bad writing. The episodic narratives are generally fine enough on their own. It’s just that most of them feel rather samey and end up not mattering. The overarching narrative, despite being on autopilot, isn’t necessarily badly written either. It’s just unengaging thanks to the main character arc that drives the plot not being handled well and the characters being on autopilot.
That just leaves the music, which is somehow my least favorite part of the show. The background OST has decent tone-setting tracks, but nothing memorable.

In light of its tone, it's difficult to fault the pacing. Yes, we spent an entire episode at a shopping mall. On the other hand, that episode was delightful. I will absolutely take a trip to the mall with fun characters and fan service over the finest hand-crafted generic fantasy fight scenes, which in any case the show could not afford. Plenty of heroes have faced off against greater perils, but did any of them go out for crepes?
Actually, yes: there are crepes in 'Trapped in a Dating Sim' (episode five) and 'Chivalry of a Failed Knight' (episode three). So, granted, the stakes could have been higher — the adventure and the comedy more balanced — but it's okay that they weren't, because those series already exist, and I don't expect a balance of flavours when I order an all-icing cake. 'Isekai Cheat Skill' went overboard, but at least it fell off on the warm and charming side. I have tried to rewatch episodes without smiling, and I fail every time.
(For the record, I fail as soon as Kaede, the redhead, enters the frame in the opening credits. Watch episode five; gaze into those enormous vermilion eyes: you can really tell when both of Kaede's brain cells are operating at maximum capacity. The trailer for the Egghead Island arc showed off a futuristic location complete with giant robots and sci-fi outfits. It also heavily featured Vegapunk's name, implying that fans may finally get to meet the World Government's top scientist. It also hinted at information relating to the Void century, meaning Egghead Island may be very important from a lore perspective as well. Altogether, this hints that Egghead Island may be as important to the series as Wano, but will have a refreshingly different tone compared to the previous arc. This change of pace is good as while Wano was an excellent arc, it was also very long. Given One Piece is a series about exploration, it will be nice to see the Straw Hats in a brand new location that is different from what came before it.
