Reviews Write review 23 Recommended 2 Mixed Feelings 3 Not Recommended All reviews (28) Sep 3, 2008 j1n Recommended Saint Seiya was one of the very first anime series I watched as a young kid. Being that I might've had a bias towards this anime, I decided to watch it again not very long ago. While I admit this series is not as good as I remembered it, I belive it is still worth watching.
Saint Seiya had a brief run on Cartoon Network, but due to its violent content, it was moved to a very poor time and gradually lost any attention it received.
5/10
Not very stand-out at all, OP and ED
were your sub-par songs, and the soundtrack was quite unnoticeable.
CHARACTERS: 7/20
The characters were very flat
this season, with not much development whatsoever. There was a huge emphasis on romance (even between side characters), and that was quite insignificant and unnecessary. With a weak plot, the characters wouldn’t be very good either obviously, and none of them really added anything to the table this season.
ENJOYMENT: 6/15
Quite the snoozefest at times, considerably more boring than Season 1.
THEMATIC EXECUTION: 7.
