Christopher Carroll Production[edit] While working on the Akira manga, Katsuhiro Otomo did not intend to adapt the series; however, he became "very intrigued" when the offer to develop his work for the screen was put before him. [18] He agreed to an anime film adaptation of the series on the grounds that he retained creative control of the project – this insistence was based on his experiences working on Harmagedon. [14] The Akira Committee was the name given to a partnership of several major Japanese entertainment companies brought together to realize production of an Akira film. The group's assembly was necessitated by the unconventionally high starting budget of around ¥500,000,000, intended to achieve the desired epic standard equal to Otomo's over 2,000-page manga tale.
Boruto administered a
tranquilliser dose on Jūgo during his next episode, his commitment to helping the birds earning his trust. Over the next couple days, the group continued working on the birds. Boruto spotted a domesticated goose among the wilds ones, and Tosaka commented on its species having lost the ability to fly. Despite having been convinced by Sarada to take his shots regularly to avoid transformations, Jūgo still retreated to his cave, as he was building up an immunity to the medication. Boruto and Sarada go over the
remaining shots, and wondered their options once they ran out. On the third day, the group woke up with bird sounds, Tosaka telling Boruto the remaining infected birds transformed and escaped, Jūgo having gone after them. They found Jūgo struggling to contain another transformation, but due to his shots being missing at his compound, Jūgo transformed and rampaged to the village. Subdued by the researchers, they revealed to the villages that the Konoha shinobi knew of Jūgo's identity, leading to them turning against them. Learning that Wasabi and Namida were unconscious and infected with cursed seals, they requested Tosaka to help them with his expertise. After the genin reluctantly left the village, they found Sumire after she was knocked out Suigetsu, who insisted he acted in self-defence. When learning Suigetsu and Karin were looking for Jūgo, the genin explained that Jūgo was apprehended by the researchers.
