"Hori and Miyamura") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroki Adachi, under the pseudonym Hero. It was self-published as a webcomic on Hero's website, Dokkai Ahen, from February 2007 to December 2011 in a four-panel format. The series received a print publication by Square Enix, who compiled the chapters in ten tankōbon volumes under its imprint Gangan Comics from October 2008 to December 2011. Additional side-story chapters were compiled in fifteen volumes from July 2012 to July 2021 as Hori-san to Miyamura-kun Omake (堀さんと宮村くん おまけ). Daisuke Hagiwara adapted the manga under Hero's supervision under the title Horimiya (ホリミヤ), which was serialized in Monthly G Fantasy from October 2011 to March 2021 and was compiled in sixteen volumes. While retired, he was able to keep up with the active IBF junior lightweight world champion Volg and lightweight world title contender Ryō Mashiba, making them get serious. Physical Ability Power Ippo's damaged fist after throwing his first punch on a sandbag. More than anything else, Ippo's boxing is distinguished and built around his overwhelming destructive power, evidenced by the 100% KO rate in his victories, with all of them coming before the 9th round. Along with Sendō, Ippo is considered to possess the strongest punches in the whole featherweight division. He was described as a "hard puncher," as Ippo can blow away guards with a single punch without wearing the opponent out. [64] He also made Aoki and Kimura, two 6-round boxers from lightweight division, throw up after landing body blows while sparring more than once. [65] Ippo was born with fists that have stopping power due to them being big, hard, flat, and with a lot of surface area. Aoki and Kimura compared Ippo's fist to that of a brick or hollow block, and with his strong lower body and short height described by Fujii, he was capable of barraging hard, compact, and fast punches. [66] It was noted that Ippo's usage of jabs can be compared to a straight due to his power. Even before joining the Kamogawa gym, Ippo showed extraordinary muscular strength and punching power when he punched the sandbag for the first time, to the astonishment of everyone at the gym. Instead of settling with his already exceptional strength in order to focus on other aspects of his boxing, Ippo has doubled down on his punching power during all of his career by constantly working on methods to enhance it even further, including weight training, log hitting and wood cutting.
This character's story is just such an insane planewreck that crashes into heathrow, leveling several terminals and killing thousands. The quasi-normal anime sexual assault that the main boy does to her is just even less forgivable because in the last two episodes the show actually brings up sexual assault and its just so awful. And its like mainly about gender but only the wierdest conception of it. There's nothing wrong with touching these subjects as long as you treat it with respect (the show doesn't). It's also fine to have boobs and fanservice, and the show isn't bad because it has those things. It's bad because of how the fanservice is presented and how it ties to the character themes. It could have still been a good show despite this depiction.
Tengoku Daimakyou would have been less talked about than Aico: Incarnation if this had come out in 2018 (not the highest point in anime). But today it is somehow praised to the moon and given an ultra-high ranking when it is fundementally, detatched from its poor handling of the main character and themes related to her, a 4 out of 10 show, or 5 out of 10 at a stretch.
