The animation in Special A is alright, nothing mind-blowing though. It's stuck at 480p resolution, so don't expect super crisp visuals. The characters have this unique look, all tall and slender with faces you might find familiar. Animation-wise, there are a few hiccups here and there, but they nail the facial expressions and the comedy bits. Some people might find
those huge eyes a bit weird, but it doesn't ruin the whole experience.

Chūnin Re-Examination Arc[] Main article: Chūnin Re-Examination Arc Boruto competing in the Chūnin Exams. In the anime, Team 7 decided to retake the Chūnin Exams. Passing the written test, the three genin advanced to the second test in the Forest of Death. Tasked with rescuing a mock injured ally while avoiding traps enemy shinobi within a
time limit, Boruto was able to find his injured ally, but Kaito Kawanami stole the ally for himself. Kaito
ended up injuring himself, so Boruto took upon himself to carry him out as well, causing him to fail in leaving the forest before the time limit was up. However, he passed the exam because they were all being evaluated for their overall performance, not just the end result. As part of the final exam, Boruto would have to defeat another of the passing genin in a one-on-one battle. The day of the finals, Boruto and Mitsuki were approached by a concerned Himawari. She and her friends discovered some suspicious individuals. She took them to the train station, where they witnessed the foreigners kidnapping Amado. The genin hopped onto a train and were able to find Amado's location in a warehouse.
