blood lad season 1
The anime comprises twelve episodes each with a
runtime of about twenty-four minutes. Produced by Keisuke Seshimo, the anime stars talented voice actors Tomori Kusunoki (Makima), Ai Fairouz (Power), Kikunosuke Toya (Denji), Shougo Sakata (Aki Hayakawa), Mariya Ise (Himeno) among many others. As far as the second season of the show is concerned, here’s everything we know so far. The show has not been renewed by MAPPA as of now. No company involved in the production and distribution of the series has
officially
commented on its future, which is a bit surprising considering its popularity. It was expected that there will be some official confirmation regarding the future of ‘Chainsaw Man’ after the premiere of the season 1 finale. But fans need not worry since the show’s renewal seems like just a matter of time. Even before the anime was released, there was a lot of hype for the series. While the reviews were overwhelmingly positive after the show was released, there was also criticism that the manga was not adapted as expected. In fact, some fans even demanded a reboot after the premiere of the season 1 finale, which is completely unheard of in the modern anime era. Therefore, the chances of that happening are almost nil, especially after taking into account that this is just a tiny minority of all the audiences that watched the show.
I especially like the OST being played during the
action scenes as a combinations of drums, tribal chanting and rock goes with perfectly with the unhindered primal violence being shown on the screen.
Manga Adaptation
As with almost all adaptation from manga to the
anime, some things are bound to get lost in transition and Akame ga Kill! is no exception. Character interactions that gave depth to their relationship are left out but those scenes didn't really contribute in significantly in altering the core plotline. It is only towards the latter half of Akame ga Kill! that readers of the manga will notice that that the rather straightforward adaption will suddenly veer off into the original anime ending territory that leaves behind an entire arc unanimated and takes several liberties with the story. If you are only familiar with the anime TV production, it is unlikely that you would notice much of difference other than the accelerated pacing and build up. At this point, the manga remains unfinished and if the show decided to stay its original course, it would have ended in an awkward state and would have had to wait years before additional material would be available.
