His body's muscles are so strong and durable to that he's able to do things like breaking katanas and knives just by gripping them, walking through walls of bulletproof-glass, and shaking an entire building by merely tensing his muscles; although it's also been implied that it was actually his body's aura. In fact, the strength of his finger flicks can be more than enough to defeat his opponent, as demonstrated in his short fight with Chamoan; he's also used this on a young Mohammad Alai Jr, managing to send the boy rolling back into the wall several feet behind him. When Yuujirou flexes his latissimus dorsi muscles, his back takes the shape of a demon's face, thus increasing his strength and combat abilities. Yuujirou is constantly advancing his strength, becoming stronger with each person he defeats every day, essentially "devouring" them, as he himself tends to say, all the while his "demon back" is exposed. Yuujirou is also very fast; he is shown to move at warp-like speeds, a level of speed that is imperceptible to other characters vision, almost as if he were teleporting. He is able to easily out-maneuver any character in the series in terms of pure speed; with characters who are at mid-top tier level being able to traverse across hundreds of miles in a matter of hours on foot.

Mahito takes advantage of his mental state and pounds away at him, even executing a "Black Flash", while mocking his poor resolve. Just then, Todo appears, saving Yuji before he is killed. Todo gives Yuji a pep talk to him to regain his motivation, while his injuries are healed by Arata Nitta; Arata also attempts to heal Nobara's body as much as he can, telling Yuji there's a "not 0%" chance she may survive. Todo begins to fight Mahito, and with a newfound resolve, Yuji joins the battle. Meanwhile, the rest of the Kyoto students make their way to Shibuya to support. Miwa talks to Mechamaru's puppet, who becomes incredibly upset over Mechamaru manipulating events to "protect" them, which she believes is him calling them weak. Before he disappears, Mechamaru tells Miwa how he wanted to protect the girl he loved no matter what, and hopes that she will be happy, as she breaks down in tears. Yuji, Todo, and Mahito's battle continues, with Todo's cursed technique, alongside Nobara's previous intervention, proving to be more troubling for Mahito. After Todo executes his own Black Flash, Mahito unleashes a horde of transfigured humans, bursting everyone back onto the streets of Shibuya. Square Enix.
