To conclude, much as I may gripe, Food Wars is generally an entertaining anime. While it struggles to stretch its premise out over a length of 24 episodes, its makes a valiant effort throw new obstacles at its lead characters and provide a range of competitive cooking scenarios for the audience to enjoy. Fans of all things culinary will likely get more enjoyment out of the series than most, but for a more conventional shounen-watching audience, there are certainly worse ways to make use of one's time. The basic storyline is a cooking school we follow soma as he gets better at cooking blah blah, this anime is just trying to appeal to the horny boys, like me at the time, but the truth is I don't want to be horny all the time I want to watch an anime that I can laugh at and enjoy but this is just not right, and I'm pretty sure food doesn't have an effect where it rips all your clothes off and makes you orgasm. To be honest, I haven't . completed every season of this "anime" and maybe it gets better but I highly doubt they change the storyline much it's just going to be new opponents and new tasks that have to be completed in a certain way all the while everyone's on enjoying the food as if they are going to die afterward. Also, I found it very difficult to eat during this anime, seeing as the people in it were eating divine food with fragrant smells and textures and whatever, whereas I'm eating a bag of chips, just makes me feel depressed.

An anime television series adaptation produced by C2C premiered in October 2023. It won the 47th Kodansha Manga Award in the shōnen category in 2023. Plot[edit] The story is set in the near future, where games that use old-fashioned display screens are classified as retro games, while full-dive VR games have become commonplace. As a result of these games becoming mainstream, there exist many so-called "trash games": rushed, full of glitches, faulty games, the systems of which have not kept up with the improved visual technology. Rakuro Hizutome is a "trash game hunter", a great admirer of these usually shameful games, which he plays with the nickname Sunraku, until he is able to master them regardless of the difficulty due to their glitches. Rakuro has cleared the oversized "Faeria Chronicle Online" trash game, and is suffering a sort of burnout syndrome. At the suggestion of the owner of his favorite game store, "RockRoll", he buys the best-selling and excellent "Shangri-La Frontier", a full-dive VR game with 30 million registered players. He enters the world of Shangri-La Frontier as the player character Sunraku, where all the skills he has attained as an expert trash game hunter will come in handy as he progresses in the game. Still interested on watching the 2nd season because the main plot is genuinely good, but because of the flaws after the strong start, I can't give the anime a 10 like everyone else. This Doxen has the cutest little ears and softest tiny snout you’ve ever encountered in such a beast. Now imagine its contrast; the pitbull of nightmares. This thing looks like it was genetically engineered to kill the Terminator and Arnold would agree wholeheartedly. Now imagine that in some cruel twist of fate (much like the first episode of Oshi no Ko) this Doxen and that Pitbull breed and produce what I can only imagine is called a Ditbull (Poxen was on the table but that just sounds even cuter than the Doxen).
