10. The entire pacing is built towards a
climax that is being saved for some future second season. It can't stand on its own as a single season without that second part. The entire show is unwatchable because of how it was structured. Unless you're watching it for the above average art and animation, there's no point in
seeing this until they release the rest because the only interesting part of the show is the mystery, which is built up through the whole season and never resolved.
Of course, if it had good characters and individual stories it would still hold up. Unfortunately neither are quite the case. The creators were good at writing a mystery, not so much interesting characters. None had complex personalities. The only real character trait an important character had was the main boy who's trait is that he is horny. Main girl, heaven girl etc.

C’est un site très actif, toujours à jour, qui regroupe tous les genres d’animes et de mangas. Entièrement gratuit et sans inscription, il vous permet de commencer à regarder votre anime préféré directement depuis la page d’accueil. AnimeSite met à votre disposition une bibliothèque d’animes absolument énorme. On apprécie les différentes sections du site et son organisation.
However, only a few characters are consistently followed throughout the show. These include our protagonists Dr. Tenma and Anna Liebert, and undeniably one of anime's greatest villains: Johan. Despite the huge cast though, there are only 2 women who get any screen time, Anna Liebert and Eva Heinemann, and only one of them is likeable (its Anna).
Dr. Tenma and Anna are more than loveable enough to root for, all in due to their strong moral resilience to the decrepit world
around them. They don't interact with each
other as much as you'd expect though, since most of the time they are caught up in their own separate storylines.
Johan, on the other hand, is perhaps my personal favorite anime villain. He gets progressively more and more terrifying as the show goes on. He is able to meticulously manipulate everyone around him to carry out his murders. His backstory is slowly revealed to us in the perfect manner such that we only ever slightly able to understand his motives and reasoning.
