Meanwhile, Fuu goes out to meet Nagamitsu, and learns he is hunting Jin. She tries to warn them but finds both Mugen and Jin unconscious. The trio manage to earn money by doing tricks, and Jin meets Nagamitsu. One of Nagamitsu's followers, Ogura, challenges him to a duel. Jin is more skilled, but allows Oruga to win, sparing his life. Budokiba's dog interrupts the conflict, revealing Nagamitsu to be her partner. The episode ends with Nagamitsu and Budokiba, their kids and their dog on a boat sailing away while Fuu, Mugen and Jin continue on their journey.
