Ippo took on the Peek-a-Boo Style, while Mashiba used the Hitman Style and threw Flicker Jabs at the quickly approaching Ippo. Mashiba noticed by Ippo's right leg in front that he is doing the southpaw style. Ippo passed by many Flicker Jabs and got close to Mashiba, however, Mashiba increased the speed of the Flicker Jabs, making Ippo fly back as they hit his guard. Mashiba hit Ippo's guard with a Chopping Right that knocked him to the ropes. As Ippo moved toward Mashiba again, feeling as if he hasn't been helpful yet, Itagaki got between them. Itagaki pointed out Ippo forgot to take the weight straps off his legs, so Itagaki took them off.
