I was surprised to see that Vivy branched a typical sci-fi action series into a thoughtful exploration of what makes us human. The show has many hearty episodes that focus on the complex natures of jealousy, greed, and loneliness. Some of the standout episodes even rival that of an introspective Cowboy Bebop episode (the anime not the live-action show) in how they let ideas and heartbreaking scenes breathe. Plus, when the action hits, it hits. Vivy’s sick-ass fight scenes feature some of the smoothest movie-quality sakuga animation I’ve seen in an anime series, which shouldn’t come as any surprise since Wit Studio is the same production company behind the first three seasons of Attack on Titan. from the jump, but To Your Eternity had me choking back tears from the first episode. To Your Eternity is the anime adaptation of Yoshitoki Ōima’s The Immortal. The series follows an immortal creature called Fushi that starts its long existence as a rock before taking the forms of a wolf and human as it observes humanity. Ōima-san also happens to be the mangaka behind A Silent Voice, and its opening theme “Pink Blood” is sung by none other than Hikaru Utada, so my being moved to tears doesn’t come as a surprise. The show pulls no emotional punches. Alongside the show’s endearing depiction of humanity striving to do what it
believes is best, To Your Eternity isn’t afraid to get heavy when moments of dread, betrayal, and death arise.
Ippo and the others became worried about Takamura's weight management and bought him bags of dried shiitake for him. After Takamura's harsh weight management, Ippo attended the press conference,
where he, Aoki, Kimura, and Itagaki were tasked to be on standby to stop Takamura in case the conference does not go well. When Takamura was struck in the jaw during a pose for a picture, Takamura began to rush toward Hawk. Ippo and the others hold him back, however, Kamogawa was the one to act as he grabbed Hawk by his collar in anger. Hawk then smacked Kamogawa in the face, causing Takamura to freeze in anger, however it ended without anyone getting hurt. Ippo defeating Yi. When his and Takamura's match arrived, Ippo met with Takamura at the changing room where he made a promise with him that if he wins by a first round knockout, Takamura has to become world champion. When Ippo's match began
against Yi Yon-su, he was caught off-guard when Yi charged toward him at the start. Yi attacked aggressively with lefts that Ippo dodged. Ippo started the Dempsey Roll motion as he dodged Yi's lefts. Ippo grazed Yi's chin with a left hook.
?, Senpai ni choko o ageru hito ga. ?) Bonus 2: "I'm being defiled by Senpai~♥" (センパイに汚されちゃう~♡, Senpai ni yogosa re chau ~♡) Senpai is trying to find a spot at the library to draw his manga, but his drawings spill on the floor next to a group of girls who
proceed to look at the pages and laugh. All the girls leave except for Miss Nagatoro, who continues to make fun of his not living up to his self-inserted hero, causing Senpai to cry. Nagatoro interrupts Senpai's drawing session and has him try to draw her instead. She pretends to ask him out on a date and learns of Senpai's past of being bullied. She makes him of Senpai's recently bought manga which has fanservice. After having seen a vampire movie, Nagatoro wants to bite Senpai's neck. Senpai watches Nagatoro interact with some boys, hoping they would experience being bullied, but she shows no interest in them. Nagatoro finds Senpai at the
hand washing station and offers to lather his hands.
