Outside of that though this one episode short was novel but rather inessential. It felt like I was watching the first chapter/episode of Eiichiro Oda's next project (though I hope that man take a much deserved LONG holiday after finishing One Piece) and based on this episode alone I can't say I'd be particularly invested. It doesn't really do much to stand out from other Shonen series. The protagonist is hot-headed, you can see the twist coming a mile away, and the only named female character has no personality.
