Senku deploys Chrome, Kohaku and Ukyo with a map of Japan's modern world coastline to scout for the location of the oil field, but they hit a dead end once its discovered that volcanic activity over the millenniums has vastly changed the terrain shown on Senku's map, thus making it next to impossible to locate it.
