The Shinkirō possesses an Absolute Defense System (絶対守護領域, Zettai Shugo Ryōiki) system which uses an array of hexagonal energy shields that can be projected over any part of the Knightmare. Its Druid System, adapted from the Gawain, plots the trajectories of incoming projectiles and shifts the shields accordingly, giving the Shinkirō the highest defensive power of any Knightmare Frame. All these are controlled by the Druid system and the keyboard-based controls. The system requires incredibly complex calculations to form effective barriers, such that it takes an intellect on the level of Lelouch to use the system to its full potential. When Rolo Lamperouge attempts to use it, he is only able to erect a meagre defense with a number of weak spots. At its full potential, the Absolute Defense System can block a sustained point-blank blast from the Mordred's Stark Hadron Cannon, albeit at the cost of much of its power reserves.

You watched in amazement as enemy grunts stopped to laugh at you when you died, only to shriek in horror when you respawned. Of course, the tight control scheme didn't hurt either. So where does the name Metal Slug come from? It's basically the uberpowerful tank that you get during the midpoint of every stage. With a powerful cannon and the ability to jump and duck enemy fire, the Metal Slug tank is the trademark of the series. Real Bout Fatal Fury (1996, NeoGeo)
Also appearing on: Saturn (1996)
A continuation of the Fatal Fury series, Real Bout uses the name that was originally intended for the series and basically starts off on a clean slate. Super desperation moves (SDMs) complemented the DMs that were introduced in Fatal Fury 3, and you had the ability to attack an opponent who was on one of three playing fields, eliminating all the chasing that occurred in previous games. Other new additions included guard cancels and dodging attacks. Samurai Shodown IV (1996, NeoGeo)
Also appearing on: PlayStation (1997)
Following up Samurai Shodown III was this sequel, released one year later. Two new characters entered the Shodown world, Kazuki and Sogetsu, who were brothers from a clan of ninjas. Three other characters made their return after taking some time off during Shodown III: Jubei, Charlotte, and Tam-Tam. Much like in the transition from Shodown I to II, there weren't many differences between this game and the previous title.

The sad part is, for how much they make this revolve around this one character, they failed at making her look good. Seriously the way she "gambles" is so stupid it would only work because the plot said so, I mean really really REALLY stupid to where it's boring to watch because the only way for her to win is "because plot" each and every time. There are no mind games, no deception or clever maneuvering like the show advertised. It's just Jabami is awesome, she wins the world! Bow before your ultimate waifu!
The other characters in the show are there to make her look good. Mary is the lancer/rival type who exists to lose to the awesome Mary Sue. Ryouta is the damsel in distress that needs to be saved. etc.
Made by Studio Mappa the art and animation here is beautiful, the crazy and edgy expressions look good. Even the voice acting and music are great.
