Review by Jacob ★★★ d. r. and cyrano walked so buggy and mihawk could run Review by ZombieTrex ★★★1⁄2 Such a fascinating piece of One Piece history finally gets the attention it deserves. Monsters was written by Eiichiro Oda before creating his life-defining work, and you can see how this one-shot
went on to inspire it. I mean, the main character is literally just Zoro (in more ways than one), and the way the plot plays out just like an arc of the series would. At times, Monsters almost feels like the One Piece that never was, and as a massive fan of the series, I appreciate that. It’s also great to see Oda’s art style
adapted by a studio other than Toei (If I remember correctly, this is only the
second time in the history of the franchise. Review by William (SpaceTree Studios) ★★★ 1 you can tell this is canon to One Piece because the first thing the main character does is get thrown out on his ass for trying to get free foodyou can also tell that this is based on a one-shot, it's only 30 minutes and feels like they have to rush into the plot with little set-up. We don't get to see much of who Ryuma is as a person other than he hungry and he good at sword.
