His world turns upside down when he discovers that he is in fact the very son of Satan and that his demon father wishes for him to return so they can conquer Assiah together. Not wanting to join the king of Gehenna, Rin decides to begin training to become an exorcist so that he can fight to defend Assiah alongside his brother Yukio.

Blue Exorcist can be faulted for it's unoriginal, demon based story which did change it's pacing a lot throughout the entirety of the anime. The story centers around your typical protagonist, rebel frowned upon hero Rin Okurmura training to become a demon exorcist. The story telling eventhough can be seen as 'rushed' is explained and detailed well making it an enticing yet easy to understand plot. It has certain sparks which makes it incredibly unique and inviting but can still include your typical anime clichés

Ippo was amazed when Itagaki dodged and blocked Makino's fouls, and felt that Itagaki looked like splendid pro when Itagaki won. Ippo headed to Itagaki's waiting room to tell him how he looked like a pro, however, Kamogawa stopped him, forbidding Ippo from ever saying those words if he wants to see Itagaki continue to grow. Ippo went back and watched Imai's match against Makoto Terai, who Imai defeated. Ippo waited outside the building to congratulate Itagaki for his victory. Later, Ippo was informed by Kamogawa about a request from his possible sixth JBC featherweight title defence opponent. In a month he would face the seventh ranker Takuzō Karasawa, who Ippo was told to have a Dempsey Roll counter plan. Ippo wished to accept the request despite the little time to prepare, as he wanted to start all over and try something. Under Siege Arc Ippo's log hitting training. Since Ippo was willing to fight Karasawa as his sixth opponent for his JBC featherweight title defence match, Kamogawa accepted the request. Ippo began training by hitting tree logs, which he bought from his prize money, into a hillside using a hammer in order to build his body for more powerful sideways twisting motions. Due to only having a month to train, Ippo did harsh training with Kamogawa.
