Kamisama (神様, Kamisama, lit. "God") Kyutaro Kaminaga (神永 球太郎, Kaminaga Kyūtarō) is a homeless old man nicknamed "Kamisama"; shortening his surname to "Kami" forms the Japanese word for god, which is emphasized when the honorific suffix -sama is added.
