I think when the term "Video Games" exists in an anime, isekais were the first genre to jump into this train, they usually shit out a huge exposition of RPG mechanics that means literally nothing with tasteless buffs the writers love to give to their characters without any meaning behind it. They also introduce . the most tropey characters that receive no character development throughout the story and then make them cry out the MC's name during any dramatic clashes.
