Yagi then got
Ippo onto the stage with his belt and introduced him to everyone and revealed that it is his 20th birthday. Ippo receives a puppy from
Nekota As a present, Nekota gave Ippo a puppy from Hachi. As Ippo held the puppy, he defecates on Ippo's belt. After cleaning the belt, Ippo was requested to sing a song. Ippo chose the "Champion" song, which caused his gym mates to throw things at him for being arrogant, making Ippo feel as if it was the greatest day of his life. After the party, Kamogawa informed Ippo that he broke two of Sendō's ribs, and that if that did not happen, Sendō could have been the one celebrating. Kamogawa then asked if Ippo found his answer of what it means to be strong, however, Ippo claimed to not have found the answer. Execution Arc
Kumi tells Ippo that she can not see him anymore. After Ippo did roadwork with his puppy (which he quickly realised can not keep up with him), Ippo returned to his house where he received a call from Kumi asking to meet up with him. When Ippo met Kumi, he was
gifted a jogging suit as a late birthday gift due to her not knowing it was his birthday when she came to his celebration party. Ippo then gave her his signature as a champion as he promised earlier.
It’s also those flaming eyes when the monsters come out or when they enter “serious mode” that are so badly animated for some of these scenes. They all start to look like Endeavor from MHA to me and it’s admittedly hysterical. But from a non-biased critiquing standpoint, it’s abhorrent.
This menagerie known as the Blue Lock facility also
feels so barren and boring.
There needs to be an incentive to make this program feel rewarding where players should want to stay here because they’re becoming their best selves. Be it, superior practicing methods, state of the art training equipment, illustrious coaching instructors, you name it. But Blue Lock doesn't have any of this. It just feels like a death trap that unbeknownst to each of the players before they join, if they get knocked out they can never play for the Japanese national team. I feel like these sort of stipulations should have been included in the letter. If not, screw it, just go full squid game and say if you’re knocked out you’re executed. That would have spiced things up a little bit.

chief cook. Hyun-yi first met Sae-ro-yi in a factory where the two formerly worked, years before the start of DanBam. She was hired as DanBam's cook when Sae-ro-yi liked the food she once cooked for him back then. Hyun-yi is a transgender woman and has been saving money for her sex reassignment surgery. In 2020, she becomes one of the directors of Sae-ro-yi's company IC Group. Chris Lyon as Kim To-ni[15] DamBam's Guinean-Korean part-timer. Even though he cannot speak and understand English, To-ni is fluent in
speaking Korean, owing to his Korean father and his one-year residence in South Korea, and French, the language he speaks in Guinea. Eventually, he is able to learn and speak a satisfactory amount of English. He also reunited with his Korean grandmother (a sponsor and investor of DanBam), who acknowledges him as her grandchild.
