I usually don't write reviews, but for this one, I couldn't resist!
I went to watch this at the Japanese film festival in Toronto a couple of weeks ago, and I was very pleasantly surprised! As a fan of Snow Man and Meguro Ren, my expectations were honestly pretty high. Because of this, I was preparing myself to be a bit let down, but somehow, he's done it again!
STORY:
As soon as the movie was announced, I immediately went to read the manga. Seeing as the manga isn't completed yet, the movie did a great job with pacing and making sure the ending was both satisfying, yet ambiguous. They had to cut out a couple of details, such as Kaya's husband having feelings for Miyo and vice versa, but it didn't really hinder the story much, so I don't really mind it.
Throughout the movie, Kiyoka and Miyo have some really cute moments with each other, with patient Kiyoka slowly encouraging Miyo to come out of her shell, and Miyo learning to express herself. One of the best scenes in the movie is when Miyo was kidnapped and being tortured to give up Kiyoka; refusing to do so, and Kiyoka literally BURNING DOWN THE ENTIRE ESTATE TO FIND HER. It really shows how much their relationship developed. And although there wasn't a dramatic "I love you" confession scene, or a kiss, this is one of the rare times that I thought it wasn't necessary. While you could tell that the main genre wasn't romance, the movie did a good job balancing it with the action and historical elements.

i got a cheat skill in another world vostfr 0165

I remember thinking the Galaxian Wars arc was fun and a nice introduction to the characters. There was just enough there that was a different, cool twist on this sort of show's formula to keep me interested. I started using this show as kind of a "start the day with an easy episode of X" thing.
Then the arc with Phoenix Ikki as the Big Bad started up and I remember thinking that was hype. It . was a cool brother against brother story with simple, significant stakes. The later stories about the silver saints and the various battles over the Saggitarius Cloth were also quite good. It was sad that the Saints present for the Galaxian Wars who weren't slated as main cast members disappeared during this period, but I overlooked that. Also appearing in the '95 edition were Eiji and Billy Kane from the Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury series respectively. The biggest change from KOF '94 to '95 was the ability to edit your teams to your liking. Instead of being stuck with all three members of, say, Team Japan, you could now pick characters from different teams to make your own custom team. Samurai Shodown III (1995, NeoGeo)
Also appearing on: PlayStation (1996)
Samurai Shodown III represented a turning point in the series and for SNK. The original team that worked on the first two games had been disbanded, and Team Garapogos (a typical SNKgrish translation of Galapagos) was in charge of the series. Considering that the second Shodown game was praised as being one of the best fighting games of all time, there was intense pressure to deliver with the third game in the series. The changes made in the game were quite evident. Gone were some of the more campy characters such as Earthquake and Tam-Tam, and in was a new system called slash/bust (or chivalry/treachery). The slash/bust system was a play on the code of the samurai and allowed you to use slightly different versions of your chosen fighter. Other minor additions to the gameplay included air blocking, sidestepping/dodging, and POW charge. Although the changes in the game were for the better, many people felt that the series had fallen with Shodown III.
But this task requires unconventional weapons for these unorthodox angels—they transform their lingerie into weapons to dispatch the spirits. Unfortunately, neither of them take their duties seriously, as they rather spend their time in pursuit of other "hobbies": Panty prefers to sleep with anything that walks, and Stocking favors stuffing her face with sweets than hunting ghosts. Follow these two unruly angels as they battle ghosts, an overflow of bodily fluids, and their own tendency to get side-tracked in Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.
