Death Note is a supernatural thriller series that zeros in on a very delicate question: is all life worth saving or are there some that we'd be better off without? ^ Oba, Tsugumi (2005). Death Note Vol. 1 - Boredom. Obata, Takeshi, 1969-, Rolf, Pookie, trl. (Shonen Jump advanced graphic novel ed. ). Japanese Visual Culture: Explorations in the World of Manga and Anime. Routledge. pp. 137–54. ISBN 978-0765616029. Sometimes referred to as love anime, these shows can be a little more slow-paced than your typical shoujo anime, but that isn't to say they're boring. In fact some of the best romance anime isn't strictly about love, but rather a combination of multiple genres. In the hit series Inuyasha, the love between Inuyasha and Kagome is strong throughout the series, but it takes a back seat to the fighting and action scenes that really drive the show. The same goes for the popular Eureka 7, where Renton and Eureka fall in love while piloting mechs and fighting the evil United Federation. Now, if anime romance is your kind of thing, be sure to vote up the best series below. Don't forget, if one of your favorite romantic anime shows is missing from the poll, you can add it so that others can vote for it too. Add as many series as you like, as long as they tell a love story with intense feelings and emotions. They used her death scene so much that I even started laughing after a certain point.
I understand that they were trying to build up the characters to make us care about what was going to happen, but they completely failed at it, so it just became a drag
Voice acting 6/10
Nothing spectacular or noteworthy. Can say I laughed a bit after hearing 3 times in a row the dude scream due to the girl's death
Sound design and OST 6/10
Nothing spectacular or noteworthy
TL;DR
Overall, it's a super mediocre anime that struggled to get my attention and even getting to episode 7 was a chore. I'm sure you've realized by now since I've repeated this as many times as the anime repeated the poor girl's death scene, but the only thing I can say about this anime is that "It's nothing noteworthy". Especially if you've already seen a lot of anime and are aware of all the tropes/clichés Reviewer’s Rating: 6 What did you think of this review? - The fights are boring. It's your typical "we can't pay animators for a decent fight scene, so we'll just make it into those talk-and-think scenes with only a handful of actual attacks". Some people like that, but I prefer fight scenes with, well, fights.
- The girl character is extremely annoying. I get that she's a 12y-old, but that doesn't mean she has to act like she's 8. Of course, whenever they then try to make her act cool and badass, it flops and just looks cringe.
