show making this Canadian-Australian) Kuu Kuu Harajuku is known with the main characters looking like anime-like characters due to being a Japanese band from Gwen Stefani. The short-lived Euro-Canadian series My Life Me is best known for this. It was made to capitalize on the 2000s anime fad, and often makes use of common anime tropes for its visuals. The main character is even noted for being an aspiring manga artist.
