The story is a reimagining of The Drifting Classroom, only now, some of the students lost in limbo have thematically relevant superpowers. People all over the anime community have given this show a reputation for being abstruse, or “2deep4u” as the saying goes, but I could not disagree more, and in fact, I actually think the show almost suffers from being too simplistic. Sonny Boy is a metaphor for entering the Japanese school and work system, and the emotional issues of these characters stem from their middle . school graduation. It’s hard to see beyond what’s here at school; some of your
friends are developing amazing talents and maybe you’re not; you have to take a leap of faith out into the real world; nothing comes for free, you have to stand up and work for it. Pretty much every episode can be boiled down to embody similarly basic coming-of-age themes, and everything interesting or innovative the show does is certainly not achieved though the depth of its writing.
Nami also tends to act as the crew's de facto treasurer. Weather Prediction & Navigation[] Nami is also an exceptional navigator, able to read the weather with perfect accuracy then give instructions to pilot the ship through any storm, and is responsible for showing the way to the next island. Although Nami isn't strong like her crewmates, she uses a weapon called the Clima-Tact, later upgraded to the Perfect Clima-Tact and currently the Sorcery Clima-Tact to manipulate the weather on a small scale, giving her a great range of tricks and attacks. Her thievery skills are also quite useful from time to time: as the crew's priorities lie
more on seeking adventure than actual piracy, she also takes on the role of ship's purser, ensuring that they have enough money to purchase food and supplies for their voyages. Cartography[] Nami is also a superb cartographer, map maker. From a very young age she was able to draw accurate maps. Thief[] Through years of being a thief of pirates, Nami developed an uncanny skill for pick-pocketing. If within her arms reach, she can normally slip something out of someone's pocket without them noticing. Weakness[] Cowardness: One of Nami's greatest weakness is cowardness due to her being afraid of facing very dangerous enemies such as Admirals, Shichibukai (before their dismissal) and Yonko. Off-Guard: Due to not being an expert of hand-to-hand combat, Nami is more vulnerable of leaving her defenseless when being attacked or caught by her enemies such as Miss Doublefinger, Kalifa, Monet, Jora, Brulee, Galette, Amande, Smoothie and Ulti.
