think it’s still a good show and the animation errors only really affected my enjoyment during
fight scenes. They’re still the same loveable characters, just a bit less polished and with their eyes further apart.
I’m torn between giving this a 6 or 7, but I’m going to give it a very low:

However, it was unfortunately not as good as everyone hoped. Unlike the first season, this time the anime likes to fall flat at times, and the comedy, in general, isn’t as enjoyable. It kind of feels like it can’t choose when to be serious or funny at the right times, which wasn’t an issue during season 1, so this anime being underwhelming was honestly a bit of a surprise. Other than that the main storyline this season just kind of wasn’t that interesting.

This was kind of a letdown. For an anime with this much hype, . you would think the art would be a little better.

The film was clearly a key influence on the more recent psychological thriller Black Swan, but despite their similarities Perfect Blue is very much a unique movie. Perfect Blue is heavy on style and indecipherable at times, but it's so consistently intense and thrilling that it's well-worth watching. such an incredible film. It's a westernised anime that was influenced by Alfred Hitchcock, Italian Giallos and David Lynch.
