Bad stuff aside, I will praise 86 for its storyboarding and direction. I like the way episodes are structured and executed. It never
feels like any time is wasted, as cliche as that sounds. I’m also a big fan of the dual-perspective we get in many episodes, either first starting with the Major’s side and then flipping over the Spearhead’s side (but from the very beginning again) or vice-versa. It’s a unique approach and I like it a lot.
