As said before, Made in
Abyss has a staff of people running it that always checks to make sure that every episode is doing great, always trying their hardest into their works. A wonderful story, great character chemistry, a harmonious soundtrack, effects, and voice actors, and beautiful, fluid animation. All of that came onto the screen because of such a wonderful staff (except story, for the most part. Credit to the author, Akihito Tsukushi!). Everything about the series was able to grab me and pulled me in like a roped hostage on a train or bank scandal. While that may sound rough, what is truly meant is that, just from the
first episode, I could tell that Made in Abyss was going to be great.
In the first episode, it panels off immediately into a beautiful waterfall within the first layer of the Abyss and then into an abundance of flowers, trying to make you feel as if you’re standing right next to the lead in their journey into the abyss. The staff did that to
have world build for the viewers, but it was a lot more than that. With the waterfall and pacing through the first episode, the waterfall and what happens after foreshadows what is to come later in the story. EVERYTHING that happens in the first episode is foreshadowing the story within the Abyss.

―Dororo in the 2019 Anime, Episode 2Dororo (どろろ, Dororo) is the titular character and deuteragonist of the show. He is a young orphaned thief, who wanders around all on his own seeking opportunities to steal and cause troubles. After Dororo was rescued by Hyakkimaru from a demon, he joins him in his travels and adventure. In the final chapter of the manga, it was revealed that Dororo was actually born as a girl, but had lived as a boy for as long as he could remember. This could be due to his parents, who raised him as a male instead of a female since birth. Dororo refuses to speak or dress femininely. In the manga, he often announces that he is a boy when others have called him a girl. Note: Dororo's gender is debatable.
It was adapted
into an eleven part anime series, beginning with Initial D (commonly known as First Stage) in 1998 and ending with Initial D Final Stage in 2014. The series also spawned several video games, including a series of arcade games by SEGA. In 2005 a Hong Kong live action adaptation film was released. A trilogy of films known as New Initial D the Movie (or the Legends Trilogy) was released between 2014 and 2016. It was followed with a sequel
manga series known as MF Ghost in 2017, which was subsequently followed by an anime adaptation in 2023. The manga consists of 719 chapters and 48 volumes.
