Kolasch feels responsible because he brought Capek, his former childhood friend, to Frankfurt. Kolasch plans to kill Capek at a convention and Tenma tries to prevent him going. However, Kolasch fails in his attempt and is shot dead by police. Nina arrives in Frankfurt where she recognizes Peter Capek in a television news report of the assassination attempt.
