Takumi participates in a grueling eight lap battle with Dr. Toshiya Joshima. During this battle Takumi damages the Eight-Six's suspension, however manages to cross the line first due to Joshima vomiting. Keisuke battles with Kozo Hoshino in a half uphill half downhill battle. While Takumi's Eight-Six is being repaired, Takumi and Itsuki head to Sadamine and run into a pair of Project D impostors. Takumi initially thinks nothing of it but changes his mind when he is slapped by Mika Uehara, whose friend Tomoko had been rudely dumped by Takumi's impersonator. The members of Project D confront the impostors, and get them to apologise to those that they have hurt. Takumi and Mika meet up again, and start seeing each other regularly. The Kanagawa Expedition[] Project D head to Kanagawa, the final prefecture of their journey. Project D battle Team 246 on Yabitsu, with Keisuke going up against another Lancer Evolution driver, Kobayakawa, and Takumi going up against their leader, Satoshi Omiya. They then head to Nagao to battle with two members of the professional racing Katagiri.

One thing is for sure, though: a myriad of blunders, triumphs and friendships awaits the dauntlessly optimistic protagonist of this herculean tale.

It doesn't have the most impressive writing, there are tons of clichés and fanservice, and the pacing is sometimes questionable but even so it never ever fails to be entertaining, which is something I can't say for most anime.
Danmachi follows a popular trend in recent years of having a setting that takes place entirely within an MMORPG game world. The difference this time however is that. it actually doesn't. Instead, the story takes place in the characters' real world, but their real world functions like a game. .

[42] The three series' films have been adapted into one-volume manga series by Homesha. [43] A 15-page one-shot spin-off manga, illustrated by Yōkō Akiyama, centered on Melissa, titled Everyone Is Surely Someone's Hero (きっと誰もが誰かのヒーロー, Kitto Daremo ga Dareka no Hero), was published in the 35th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump on July 30, 2018. [44] A one-shot spin-off manga that serves as a prequel to the first film, written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi, centered on All Might's past and the featured character Nana Shimura, titled No. 0 All Might: Rising (No. 0 オールマイト:ライジング, Nanbā 0 Ōru Maito: Raijingu), was given to the first one million attendees on August 3, 2018. A ten-page manga was included in the My Hero Academia Two Heroes Vol. 0 Origin (僕のヒーローアカデミア2人の英雄 Vol. 0 Origin, Boku no Hīrō Akademia 2-ri no Eiyū Vol. 0 Origin) book. [45] It was later published in English by Viz Media in September 2018. [46] Deku & Bakugo: Rising (出久&爆豪:ライジング, Deku Ando Bakugo: Raijingu), a two-chapter spin-off manga illustrated by Akiyama, was published in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump on December 16 and 23, 2019. While his style of artwork began with screentone, he gradually developed into minimalism. As the series progressed, he would draw figures and faces very detailed or "cartoony, sketchy and jumping with action" whenever he desired such effects. [8] During the years he worked on YuYu Hakusho, Togashi would calculate the personal time he had based on a formula of four hours per page without scripting and five hours of sleep per night. [14] He wrote in his own dōjinshi Yoshirin de Pon! that he stopped the production on YuYu Hakusho out of selfishness. [15] The author had originally wanted to end the manga in December 1993, at the climax of the Sensui arc. [12][15] Although there was not a large demand from the editorial staff, Togashi was under a great deal of personal stress at certain points of the series' run, particularly during its final six months of publication. He claimed that, beginning with the Dark Tournament arc, inconsistent sleep resulting from overwork was causing him health problems. [15] He noted himself as being very ill while working on the color pages for Yusuke's match with Chu. [12] There were also many instances where he would create nearly entire manuscripts by himself, such as Yusuke's meeting with Raizen and the battle between Kurama and Karasu. [15] The editors of the publication tried to make Togashi reconsider cancelling Yu Yu Hakusho, though he justified his decision by stating that it would simply be replaced by another popular series. [7] Togashi was relieved at the conclusion of the manga.
Arcane was released to widespread acclaim, with praise directed at its animation, story, worldbuilding, action sequences, characters, emotional weight, sound, and voice acting. Some have noted the series' appeal both to casual viewers who have never played League of Legends and to long-time fans of the game. [1] It also set the record as Netflix's highest-rated series at the time within a week of its premiere, ranked first on the Netflix Top 10 Chart in 52 countries, and ranked second on the chart in the United States. Several critics and publications considered it one of the best video game adaptations ever made. [2] In 2022, the series became the first streaming series to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program and won an Annie Award for Best General Audience Animated Television Broadcast Production. Premise[edit] Amidst the escalating unrest between the rich, utopian city of Piltover and its seedy, oppressed underbelly of Zaun, sisters Vi and Jinx find themselves on opposing sides of a brewing conflict over clashing convictions and arcane technologies.
