The main duo in Special A are Hikari and Kei, leading the pack in the Special A class. Their dynamic gives off serious Misaki and Usui vibes from "Kaichou wa Maid-sama!". The side characters like Akira, Ryuu, . and Tadashi are fleshed out nicely, adding layers to the story and keeping things interesting.
At first, the show leans more towards slice-of-life stuff rather than diving headfirst into romance.
