In December 2023 it was announced that the next chapter in the story would come in the form of a Chainsaw Man movie, titled Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. Here's everything we know about the film, when it might come out, what the story is, and what it might mean for a potential season two. Chainsaw Man movie potential release date: When will the Chainsaw Man movie come out?Mappa News of the Chainsaw Man movie was first shared at Jump Festa 24 — the annual manga and anime convention held in Tokyo — with the show's official X/Twitter account sharing a very short teaser and some key art. Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, its full title, is being produced by studio MAPPA and will adapt the next set of chapters in Tatsuki Fujimoto's original manga. So far the title and short tease are all we have to go on, and no information about release dates or
windows has been shared. However, we'd expect some updates in the coming months, and wouldn't be overly surprised if the Chainsaw Movie appeared in cinemas before the end of 2024 (judging by previous rumours). Chainsaw Man movie cast: Who will be back for the Chainsaw Man movie and season 2? MappaAlthough the cast of the Chainsaw Man movie hasn't been confirmed, we'd expect to see the following Japanese and English voice actors reprise their roles:• Denji - Kikunosuke Toya (Japanese) / Ryan Colt Levy (English)
• Pochita - Shiori Izawa (Japanese) / Lindsay Seidel (English)
• Makima - Tomori Kusunoki (Japanese) / Suzie Yeung (English)
• Aki Hayakawa - Shogo Sakata (Japanese) / Reagan Murdock (English)
• Power - Fairouz Ai (Japanese) / Sarah Wiedenheft (English)
• Kobeni - Karin Takahashi (Japanese) / Bryn Apprill (English)
• Hirokazu Arai - Taku Yashiro (Japanese) / Jarrod Greene (English)
• Kishibe - Kenjirou Tsuda (Japanese) / Jason Douglas (English)
• Katana Man - Daiki
Hamano (Japanese) / Jason Marnocha (English)Himeno might not return though, unless flashbacks bring her back to life. If so, then Mariya Ise and Katelyn Barr will likely reprise their role in Japanese and English respectively. Neither Yō Taichi (in Japanese) nor Emi Lo (in English) will be returning to the role of Akane either - as she was (rather grimly) also killed towards the end of season one by the Snake Devil. Given the movie’s focus on the Reze arc, we’d expect an announcement about that character's casting imminently. Chainsaw Man season 2 plot: What will happen in Chainsaw Man season 2?Sony Pictures The majority of Chainsaw Man season one centered around Denji's journey to become a certified devil hunter.
[40] Music[edit] See also: List of Sailor Moon soundtracks Takanori Arisawa composed the score for Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon. Arisawa earned the Golden Disk Grand Prize from Columbia Records for his work on the first series soundtrack in 1993. In 1998, 2000, and 2001 Arisawa won three consecutive JASRAC International Awards for most international royalties, owing largely to the popularity of Sailor Moon music in other nations. [41] The first opening theme, Moonlight Densetsu (ムーンライト伝説, Mūnraito Densetsu, Lit. Moonlight Legend), was
used for the first 166 episodes, being performed by DALI for the first two seasons[42][43] and then by Moon Lips for the next two seasons. [44][45] The second opening theme, for the remaining episodes, is "Sailor
Star Song" performed by Kae Hanazawa. [46] The last ending theme, used for the series finale at episode 200, is Moon Lips's version of "Moonlight Densetsu". [9] The DiC/Cloverway/Optimum English adaptation of the anime series used the melody of "Moonlight Densetsu" with very different English lyrics. At the time, it was unusual for anime theme songs to be translated, and this was one of the first such themes to be redone in English since Star Blazers. [47] The English theme has been described as "inane but catchy". [48] The Japanese theme is a love song based on the relationship between Usagi and Mamoru ("born on the same Earth"), whereas the English Sailor Moon theme rather resembles a superhero anthem.
