He is then visited by a dying future version of himself, warning him that the Human spirit will cause the deaths of everyone he cares about. To appease the Human, Rudeus attempts to kill Orsted, one of Human's enemies. However, Rudeus offers his allegiance to Orsted in exchange for his family's protection instead. Shortly after, Rudeus takes Eris as his third wife, following a reconciliation for the misunderstanding.
