To be honest, if you compare to modern equivalents for this sort of story, you may think flashback concept is not enough to constitute the story. Yet, the concept it self works really well and comedy factor is ridiculously fantastic. There is only one sour thing makes me sad which is not to see Sannoh match as in Manga.
I am extremely grateful for mangaka Takehiko Inoue for this story as well as the animation team and voice actors. helpful•40sahinsDec 10, 2019Top picksSign in to rate and Watchlist for personalized recommendationsSign inFAQ12How many seasons does Slam Dunk have?Powered by AlexaDetailsEditRelease dateMay 7, 1995 (Taiwan)Country of originJapanLanguageJapaneseAlso known asSlam DunkProduction companyToei AnimationSee more company credits at IMDbProTechnical specsEditRuntime22 minutesColorColorSound mixStereoAspect ratio1. 33 : 1Related newsContribute to this pageSuggest an edit or add missing contentTop GapWhat is the Canadian French language plot outline for 灌籃高手 (1993)?AnswerSee more gapsLearn more about contributingEdit pageAdd episodeMore to exploreListStaff Picks: What to Watch in MarchSee the listListIMDb Staff's Favorite FIlms Directed by WomenSee our picksListHillary's 6 Picks for March and BeyondSee the full listRecently viewedYou have no recently viewed pagesGet the IMDb AppSign in for more accessSign in for more accessGet the IMDb AppHelpSite IndexIMDbProBox Office MojoIMDb DeveloperPress RoomAdvertisingJobsConditions of UsePrivacy PolicyYour Ads Privacy ChoicesIMDb, an Amazon company© 1990-2024 by IMDb. com, Inc. rejected fifty times - encounters Haruko Akagi, who recognizes Hanamichi's athleticism and introduces him to the Shohoku basketball team. Hanamichi was reluctant to join the team at first as he had no previous sports background (and because the fiftieth girl rejected him for a basketball player), but despite his immaturity and hot temper, he
proves to be a natural athlete with potential, initially joining the team in order to impress Haruko, but later coming to love the sport and working his best to help the team win the nationals.
