5/10 - surprisingly better than most until they got cheap and starting
throwing in CGI midway through
enjoyment 6/10 - i couldnt tell if
this show was on full parody mode or if they were really trying to make a decent anime. there were semblances of actual character development and a plot, but they never did anything with them. if this show was trying to be self aware it failed, and if it was trying to be serious it failed even harder.
overall 5. 5/10
the 'ending' was a huge letdown and this show is both sequel baiting harder than NGNL and a blatant advertisement urging you to just buy the source material just to not have such an incomplete product
felt like i was watching lackluster satire
you will probably like this if you:
* consider SAO a good anime
* don't care for deep plot or characters
* enjoy fanservice
* like random RPG elements thrown in for no reason
watch if you have nothing better on your plate and set your expectations low

Welcome to the world of Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka, where strong personalities are obviously illegal and main characters are inexplicably attractive to women. A 13-episode fantasy story put to screen by J. C. Staff and based on a light novel, ‘DanMachi’ can at times be an enjoyable experience if you shut your brain off. Action is served up in droves but in an equal share comes a bland .
Personality[] Yuujirou is a fierce and arrogant man. He shows no mercy towards anybody, as he views mercy as a "weak" trait. Yuujirou is also emotionally manipulative - this can be seen in his relationships with his son and Emi Akezawa, for example. He seemingly lives only to
fight and cause destruction to anything and everything he can. His whole life and mindset are dedicated to nothing but fighting and growing stronger with each person he defeats, sometimes killing them. He tends to kill people if pushed or enraged enough and does not show care or remorse when doing so. He will also kill for pleasure or satisfaction when he feels like it. He has a deep resentment for the weak and does not even think it's worth killing them. He desires his son
Baki to become strong like him, so he can enjoy a challenging fight with him as if Baki is a toy to him. He is also unexpectedly silent and stoic most of the time. He is incredibly intimidating, having a menacing aura that makes everyone around feel petrified.
