If you want to go super in-depth and granular with the chronological order, you can watch episodes 1-24, the first hour of End of Evangelion, then episodes 25 and 26 for a more introspective look at the main characters during a significant plot beat. Then you’re free to finish up End of Evangelion before moving on to the Rebuild movies. We’d recommend just sticking with the main order above – but the option is here if you want it. At the very least, it gives greater context to the utterly bewildering final two episodes of a series that, famously, ran out of steam (and budget) during its original run. Neon Genesis Evangelion order – should I watch Evangelion: Death(True)2? (Image credit: Netflix/Gainax)The only skippable piece of mainline Evangelion media is a curiosity that can also be found on Netflix called Evangelion: Death(True)2, otherwise known as Evangelion: Death and Rebirth. The ‘Death’ portion of the movie is a recap of the entire series with some newly-drawn scenes, as well as some larger world-building that's covered in the series' director cut episodes.

More fanservice than the original, a great looking roster of girls, and the most non-existent plot in all of anime.
Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt MAL Rated 7. 81, Ranked #804 | Aired Fall 2010 | Produced by Gainax A lot of ecchi anime seem like they are written by 10 year olds who have only just realised boobs exist and can't move beyond that (cough Highschool DxD cough). Panty and Stocking not only shows that boobs exist, but it also introduces masturbating, sex, vaginas, penises, boners, nipples and every other dirty thing under the sun, and boy does it want you to know about all these things. Especially notable is the hot magical girl transformation scene of the two main characters.
Midori no Hibi (Midori Days) MAL Rated 7. 50, Ranked #1512 | Aired Spring 2004 | Produced by Studio Pierrot Did you like Parasyte but think it would be better if instead of lots of killing and blood, it was a cute ecchi romance anime instead? Did you wish that instead of being a shapeless blob, Migi was a cute naked girl on the end of your right hand? Well then boy do I have an anime for you!
Yosuga no Sora MAL Rated 6. 81, Ranked #3890 | Aired Fall 2010 | Produced by Feel You know how in ecchi anime producers often add a sister character and heavily imply that she wants to bone our lead but either never gets there or drops the old "not blood-related" shtick? Don't you wish anime would just drop that pretense? Yeah, Yosuga no Sora. I shall say no more.
Keijo!!!!!!!! MAL Rated 7. 22, Ranked #2580 | Aired Fall 2016 | Produced by Xebec Let's not f*ck around here. Baki finally comes to Brazil and meets Dickson. The young fighter visits him with the intention of fighting, but it turns out that the Brazilian martial artist is heavily injured and is currently in a wheelchair. Dickson tells him about the Underground Arena in the Tokyo Dome and that this is where he was defeated, losing everything he had in life. Nevertheless, Baki does not seem to be discouraged and decides to find the arena. Baki vs Shuumei Kanou. Soon Baki arrives in Tokyo and visits the household of Mitsunari Tokugawa. There he meets Kanji Igari for the first time. Igari is just leaving Tokugawa's house when Baki arrives. They watch each other for a while, and Baki tells him that if he wants to stand in his way, he will treat him as his enemy. Igari decides that he doesn't want to have any match and goes away. After a while, Baki defeats all the bodyguards from Tokugawa's house and then fights a duel with Shuumei Kanou, the best bodyguard of the Tokugawa house.
