At the end of year 5 there are 79,000 vampires. After 500 years, do you really think that vampires would be so rare that you've never seen one?!"
The only way for humans to stand a prayer against vampires would be to design a highly effective weapon that's mass produced to the point that everyone has one and can use it. How about a crossbow that shoots blessed silver bolts? In Demon Slayer, the only thing stopping vampires is the guild of vampire hunters, who designed a test so EXTREME that there are 10-15 vampire hunters at any one time and that's being very generous. In order for the vampires to not overrun Japan, Tanjiro must be putting up INSANE kill numbers. We're talking Soviet state executioner Vasily Blokhin numbers. 7,000 vampires a week! His life is eating, shitting, and killing vampires on an assembly line! In season 2, we're going to be introduced to 3 vampire hunters that by themselves have somehow been running Vampire Treblinka in the middle of Tokyo! Jesus, that rant got dark. I apologize for that highly offensive joke, but I just hate this show so much!
Next, we're introduced to some annoying side characters that add nothing and piss me off. We do get some cool fight scenes though and Tanjiro carries Nezuko around in a basket as an homage to the 1982 B-movie Basket Case. I just wish it had referenced the Toxic Avenger instead. I'm more of Toxie guy!
The art and animation is the only reason this show got a 5 and not a 3 or 4. Demon Slayer followed the My Hero Academia formula to make shonen great again.

From now on, this review will be extremely negative so feel free to disagree with my opinion.
I was at the beginning of 2022 (my god how fast time passes) and I came across a new anime from CloverWorks, a producer that despite some disasters like The Promissed Neverland and Darling In The Fraxx, knows how to make good anime like Spy x Family, . Horimiya and Wonder Egg Priority. Since at that time I didn't have anything better to do other than go to school and sleep, I watched any anime that came out during the season and Dress-Up Darling was no exception. I had very high expectations about this anime but in the end I ended up being disappointed.
The anime's proposal isn't interesting at all, but it can still captivate those niche otakus, simply a hot girl and a doll maker in a silly relationship etc etc. It can't be that bad, can it?
Yes! It's horrible!
The execution is a disaster, the anime fails to convey any message in a subtle way or convey any feeling to the viewer, the anime fails in all aspects of the script.
And if there was anything that made this half-ass commitment more apparent, it would have to be the presentation that it was given.
Re:Zero is that kid that just learned a new 3-syllable word and just spews it out at every opportune moment in a sad attempt to appear intellectual. There're some elements here that demonstrate some semblance of writing chops, I would give the show that, but the way the writers flaunt their ability to come up with said ideas comes off as conceited, especially when these moments wallow in content that's tantamount to idiotic orchestral displays. It's a proud peacock, flaunting its ideas, while strutting around with toilet paper stuck to its ass. As it navel-gazes, everyone else looks on in amusement.
When I said it points things out with neon lights, this is what I mean.
