For starters, the music
really wasn’t that good this time around as I didn’t really enjoy the opening, ending, or ost. Then there's the new
character designs and art in general, yes it's a cleaner art style, but it makes the characters seem blander. The worst part though is the animation. At times it just looked downright bad. I just expected it to be better overall.

The one saving grace for this anime is the cast. If the main group didn’t mesh as well with each other as it does, then this anime would've been a lot worse. The characters are still really enjoyable to watch and we get some development on them throughout the season, but unfortunately, the comedic timing on a lot of the jokes just wasn’t that good which makes me downgrade the score a little.
Story: 5
I’ve got only one word to describe the story this season and it's boring. Unfortunately, the serious directions that this anime tries to take dont hit that well, and with the antagonists being kind of goofy when the jokes dont hit, the show just becomes uninteresting and bland to watch. I really wanted more from this anime, but I can only give it 6 Yesod shards out of 10.

While he is creating Night Creatures, Lenore informs Hector of Carmilla's scheme to dominate the world, confessing that Carmilla used her the same way Dracula used Hector. Back in Târgoviște, Sypha expresses outrage at Zamfir taking food from the already-starved townsfolk to keep her own people nourished. Despite their differences, Sypha saves Zamfir from a night creature as they cannot afford to lose able fighters—however, the creature covertly plants a magical tracking stone onto the back of Zamfir's neck before being killed. Back in the Magician's city, Isaac and the Night Creatures move to attack Carmilla's castle; Isaac ordering them to destroy everyone except for Hector, whom he plans to kill himself. 286"You Don't Deserve My Blood"Sam DeatsWarren EllisMay 13, 2021 (2021-05-13) The Battle of Styria begins as Isaac and his army of night creatures clash with Carmilla's own. Lenore tries to drag Hector out of the castle, only to be trapped by Hector's magical barrier. Isaac meets Hector again and moves to kill Lenore, but decides to spare both after seeing Hector
offer his life for Lenore's safety. Hector cuts off his own finger to remove the binding ring, while Isaac activates the barrier from the stones placed by Hector earlier, trapping Carmilla in her throne room. Isaac overwhelms Carmilla with his night creatures but, refusing to be killed by her enemies, Carmilla commits suicide before Isaac can finish her. Morana and Striga retreat with their forces after sensing Carmilla's death, while Hector and Isaac discuss how they were both used as tools for leverage.
