It's not like he's 40, he's like 26. Yeah not great but i can deal. But this man is HER FATHER. He raised her
since she was a toddler!!! That part really weirds me out. I did power through the episodes
that are released (like 6 or 7?) and i do like the animation and the actual
pacing of the romance. I just hate that it's her dad. In my case target audience not reached, but perhaps people with an electra complex would enjoy it. helpful•13amblilfulNov 20, 2023Top picksSign in to rate and Watchlist for personalized recommendationsSign inFAQ10How many seasons does A Girl & Her Guard Dog have?Powered by AlexaDetailsEditRelease dateSeptember 28, 2023 (Japan)Country of originJapanOfficial sitesOfficial site (Japan)Official X siteLanguageJapaneseAlso known asA Girl & Her Guard DogProduction companyProject No. 9See more company credits at IMDbProTechnical specsEditRuntime24 minutesColorColorRelated newsContribute to this pageSuggest an edit or add missing contentTop GapWhat is the Spanish language plot outline for Ojou to Banken-kun (2023)?AnswerSee more gapsLearn more about contributingEdit pageAdd episodeMore to explorePhotosThe Most Searched Stars on IMDbSee the galleryListIMDb Staff's Favorite FIlms Directed by WomenSee our picksListHillary's 6 Picks for March and BeyondSee the full listRecently viewedYou have no recently viewed pagesGet the IMDb AppSign in for more accessSign in for more accessGet the IMDb AppHelpSite IndexIMDbProBox Office MojoIMDb DeveloperPress RoomAdvertisingJobsConditions of UsePrivacy PolicyYour Ads Privacy ChoicesIMDb, an Amazon company© 1990-2024 by IMDb. com, Inc.

The first episode had a Dark Fantasy-Action vibe which had the then yet to be acquianted MCs battling each other in a somewhat testing of strength, which concluded in a partnership to achieve opposite goals relating to a common enemy.
It then immediately took a sudden 45-degree turn and became a full-on dialogue-heavy Detective/Mystery the very next episode. It would have been
just fine as it acted as the introduction to the protags' now-established investigative team. except it took 3 episodes to conclude and felt like an unnecessarily stretched-out filler arc.
It was then followed up by an arc filled with new
characters (I'd refrain from describing them to avoid spoilers) who were the ones that took the center stage in dealing with the case at hand as the MCs get relegated to the sidelines, showing up once in a while on-screen, with smug reactions on their faces implying they are picking the case apart one by one while they were off-screen.
What came next was the climactic first interaction with the villains of the story. This set the tone for what's to come as the show nears the finale.
