3"Episode 3"January 28, 2022 (2022-01-28) Gyeong-su is scratched while fighting off a zombie and isolates himself in another room when Na-yeon accuses him of being infected. However, Gyeong-su shows no signs of infection, and the others press Na-yeon to apologize. Na-yeon instead antagonizes Gyeong-su, who suddenly
turns and throws himself out a window while attacking Cheong-san. Nam-ra reveals that she saw Na-yeon smear zombie blood onto her handkerchief and used it to tend to Gyeong-su's scratch, causing his infection. Na-yeon
storms out, and a concerned Ms. Park runs after her. Meanwhile, Gwi-nam sacrifices several survivors to escape the kitchen. Cheong-san's mother goes to the school in search of her son. Firefighter and On-jo's father, Nam So-ju, his crew, assemblywoman Park Eun-hee, and several other government officials are trapped inside a government building. Pregnant student Park Hee-su gives birth in a public bathroom
stall and flees with the baby as zombies begin to overrun the city. However, she is bitten and
hides inside Cheong-san's family restaurant, tying herself out of the baby's reach before succumbing to the infection.
While you could tell that the main genre wasn't romance, the movie did a good job balancing it with the
action and historical elements.
If I had to have one "complaint", I would have enjoyed this as a drama! There is so much lore and questions left unanswered that a 12-16 episode drama would definitely have me hooked.
ACTING/CAST:
Since fantasy was a first for Meme, I was curious as to how he'd do. The result? Honestly, pretty good! He seemed to have completely immersed himself in the role, and he managed to play the
cold but secretly warm-hearted Kiyoka pretty well! Seeing that the manga version of Kiyoka had more delicate and soft features, I was worried that the movie version would not provide that big of a "gap moe". Again, I was thankfully proven very wrong.
I was familiar with Imada Mio from Hana Nochi Hare, but that's about it.
