Shōya helps Shōko reconnect with Miyoko Sahara, a kind classmate who genuinely befriended Shōko and is currently in the same school as Naoka Ueno, who also bullied Shōko and weasels back into Shōya's life. Shōko also meets Miki Kawai, her elementary school class president, who now attends the same school as Shōya and is in a relationship with Satoshi Mashiba.

Blue Exorcist can be faulted for it's unoriginal, demon based story which did change it's pacing a lot throughout the entirety of the anime. The story centers around your typical protagonist, rebel frowned upon hero Rin Okurmura training to become a demon exorcist. The story telling eventhough can be seen as 'rushed' is explained and detailed well making it an enticing yet easy to understand plot. It has certain sparks which makes it incredibly unique and inviting but can still include your typical anime clichés
Certain parts of the anime .
