"Slice Of Life - a character's life is presented, often lacking plot development, conflict and exposition, as well as often having an open ending. " You walked into this acting like this was an action anime. Adventure does not mean action. Slice Of Life is the opposite of action and drama, bro. Chill. The manga is full of world building, lore, character growth, and some pretty good action that all get cut for the anime.
