The animation is fine, but a bit lacking. The expressions could have been handled even better to evoke that sense of “evil” from Yuuichi, and all the
other emotions from the other characters.
MUSIC: 8. 9/10
Huge fan of
both the opening and ending from this series. Nana Mizuki and Saji do a great job, and I never skipped them. The two themes were definitely a highlight of the show.
CHARACTERS: 11. 5/20
The characters were introduced very poorly, and the developments for most of them seem to just be scratching the surface of their characterization and backstories, but I have to say Yuuichi carries the cast, and I’m sure you agree. He has the most distinct personality overall, as he creates most of the shock value. He is a scumbag, but he’s not completely heartless, as we saw in the
third game.

Each episode pretty much starts the same and ends the same. Really the only fun aspect of the series is that the romance between the MMC and FMC. Its not anything special but it is fun to watch. Some comedy moments here and there and some light character development.
Another issue was the ending. It doesn't resolve anything. I understand that anime are ads for the manga anyway but
thats such a horrible way of
looking at it. The author should aim for a better anime or director in this case.
TLDR: I was disappointed in this series. It actually had potential at the start but fell into this repetitive groove. I don't remember much of this series and i finished it in 2 days.
