It's a proud peacock, flaunting its ideas, while strutting around with toilet paper stuck to its ass. As it navel-gazes, everyone else looks on in amusement.
When I said it points things out with neon lights, this is what I mean.
“Hey, the camera is shaking excessively. Hey, we're giving Suburu a manic expression, one step away from having him foaming at the mouth. Hey, we literally added a 10% darkness opacity filter to Suburu's color scheme. Hey, all of these scene compositions literally bathe Suburu in a constant shadow. Hey, his eyes are big and bulgy. HEY, HEY, HEY!! Do you get it yet!? Hey, are our actions to paint him in an obscure light after a big altercation with Emilia not made clear yet? Please reward us. Please tell us we're smart. I learned a 3-syllable word today! Please applaud my efforts!”
Evil can't be expressed without outlandishly warped expressions.

The completely redone character art as well as the improvements to the in-game animation made KOF2K1 the smoothest-looking game in the series. New characters introduced in this edition included K999 (a homage to the cult anime hit Akira), May Lee, Angel, and Lin. The biggest change that Eolith made with the series was to give you the ability to customize your team even more than before. Before KOF2K1, the team structure was pretty standard. You had three characters and, recently, one extra character acting as a striker. This changed in KOF2K1 with the introduction of the ratio system. You could now have any combination you wanted, be it two strikers and two characters or even one character and three strikers. These combinations also affected how much damage your characters could take or receive. If you stacked your team with four playable fighters, they would take more damage, but if you went with only one, that fighter would become much stronger. This is the follow-up to the first Card Fighter's Clash, but sadly, it only came out in Japan.

I have also read the manga too, but I wanted to try and give a review from the point of view of someone that hasn't read the source material.
Lets get started
- Brief synopsis
A middle aged salary man named Yamashita Kazuo on his way home runs into Fighter Tokita Ohma and see's him beat up a another huge fighter. The next day Kazuo is invited to talk to the owner of his company where he is dragged into the world of the Underground fighting circuit called "The Kengan fights". There he is re-acquianted . with Tokita where their journey begins to compete and attempt to win the Kengan Tournament.
- Story
The plot is basic enough. Company CEO's have fighters represent them and fight for them in Kengan Matches. zoro in here like an mcu cameo Review by ˗ˏˋ suspirliam ˊˎ˗ ★★★1⁄2 This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth. that zoro cameo gagged me a bit ngl Review by Matthew Lewis ★★1⁄2 I'm a lifelong One Piece fan currently in the middle of the Wano Arc, so you bet I popped my fucking tits off at the ending. Outside of that though this one episode short was novel but rather inessential. It felt like I was watching the first chapter/episode of Eiichiro Oda's next project (though I hope that man take a much deserved LONG holiday after finishing One Piece) and based on this episode alone I can't say I'd be particularly invested. It doesn't really do much to stand out from other Shonen series. The protagonist is hot-headed, you can see the twist coming a mile away, and the only named female character has no personality. It's almost every first shonen. Review by Manu_Ozz ★★★★ Ryuma, el Rey.
