Plot[edit] Yūya Tenjo is an overweight, short and meek middle school student who is bullied at school and tormented by his family, except for his grandfather who is the only person who cares for him. When his grandfather dies and leaves Yūya as the sole heir of his house, his parents expel him from home, and he is forced to live there alone. Inside his grandfather's house, Yūya discovers a portal to another world, where he obtains the power to change his life forever. Characters[edit] Yūya Tenjō (天上 優夜, Tenjō Yūya) Voiced by: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka[2] (Japanese); Lee George[3] (English) The main protagonist, he was tormented by both his classmates and his family for his ugliness and obesity, which are caused by some genetic deficiency. He inherits his grandfather's house, where he finds a portal to another world. After killing a powerful monster using the weapons he found in the house, Yūya grows stronger, taller and handsome, and obtains special powers by defeating enemies like in a video game.
