Episode 10 throws all subtlety out of the window and pours male gaze all over the show, not to mention indulging in classy humor such as flashing a girl. It’s not even the more sensual kind of fanservice like episode 6’s Utaha scene where she puts on her stockings. It’s the point where the show stops trying and just revels in all the trashy LN tropes we all love and “cleverly” comments on all of them. This show is completely in love with itself and all of the trashy things that it comments on.
The bottom line: if you’re watching this because you heard it was by White Album 2’s author, don’t bother. If you’re watching this expecting a trashy, fanservice-y show, you’re better off watching an actual trashy, fanservice-y show, because shows like those don’t bother pretending that they’re not trashy, fanservice-y crap. Saekano is obnoxious, hypocritical, and pretentious. Avoid it like the big, stinky turd that it is.

[19] In November 2020 Kodachi stepped down, with Kishimoto taking over as writer. [16] In order to keep the entire Naruto saga within a hundred volumes, Ikemoto hopes to complete the manga in fewer than 30 volumes. [23] In April 2023, it was announced that the manga would enter on hiatus;[24] it resumed on 21 August of the same year, with a second part titled Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. [25] Viz Media licensed the manga for English release in North America in 2017 and released the first volume alongside the English dub of Boruto: Naruto the Movie. [26] A spin-off manga titled Boruto: Saikyo Dash Generations,[d] written by Kenji Taira, was serialised in Saikyō Jump from 1 April 2017 to 1 April 2021. [27][28] Its chapters were collected in four volumes. [29][30] Anime[edit] See also: List of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episodes At the Naruto and Boruto stage event at Jump Festa on 17 December 2016, it had been announced that the manga series would be adapted into an anime project,[31] which was later confirmed to be a television series adaptation that would feature an original story. [32][33] Additionally, an original video animation was previously released as a part of CyberConnect2's video game collection, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy (2017), which depicts a new mission where Boruto's team has to stop a thief. [34] The television anime series, story supervised by the former manga writer Ukyō Kodachi until episode 216, is animated by Pierrot, with character designs by Tetsuya Nishio and Hirofumi Suzuki. The series premiered on TV Tokyo on 5 April 2017. [35] The episodes are being collected in DVDs in Japan, starting with the first four episodes on 26 July 2017. ^ "Schedule - Adult Swim". Adult Swim.
