Short Summary[] As Brannew reveals the secret of Garp's strength at a naval ship graveyard, the battle at Hachinosu is in the Marines favor. Just as the Marines are prepared to retreat with their mission complete, Kuzan arrives to stop them. The situation worsens when a trap results in Garp
getting injured by Shiryu. As Garp continues his battle with Kuzan, Avalo Pizarro prepares to destroy the Marine ship, with the soldiers and civilians on board. Long Summary[] At the Marine G-1 Branch coastal ship scrapyard, Commodore Brannew tells Jango and Fullbody that when Monkey D. Garp was young, he would use battleships as punching bags as opposed to sandbags, which is why some of the ships have caved-in bows. Jango is left in disbelief that Garp would use ships to train while Fullbody asks why there is a second one with a caved-in bow. Brannew reveals that the other ship was punched by Kuzan back when he was still Garp’s student.
