[11][12] Japanese rule[edit] In 1895, Taiwan was ceded by the Qing dynasty to the Empire of Japan. During Japanese rule, the New Taipei City area was administered under Taihoku Prefecture together with modern-day Taipei, Keelung and Yilan County. Gold and other mineral deposits were discovered at Keelung Mountain, triggering a mining boom in the region. In October 1896, Japanese government divided the mining area around Keelung Mountain into two districts: an eastern district, designated as Kinkaseki, and a western district, designated as Kyūfun. Both districts are now parts of Ruifang District. They also issued regulations barring local Taiwanese mining companies from mining in the area, giving the mining rights to Japanese companies instead.

Maybe Shiryu could have gone to the Wulau Peaks to have nice scenes with Shunrei. No. What we got was the Asgard Arc, which is one of the absolute worst shonen battle manga stories I have ever encountered. A legitimately 1/10 storyline with nothing going for it that runs for ANOTHER 25 EPISODES.
A God Warrior from the icy region of Asgard, heretofore unmentioned, shows up and beats up a Gold Knight offscreen so we know he's a Bad Dude. OK. Sure. I hate this already, but I understand the storytelling technique of having them take down someone we know is strong to prove that they are stronger and a threat to the main cast. Fine. In the second episode of this arc, the bronze saints are already in Asgard fighting the God Warriors in what is basically Another Sanctuary Arc. Insultingly, they show some of the infiltration we were just to assume the bronze knight had done in flashbacks later.

Kotetsu then appears and fruitlessly tries to stab the watery pot. He is attacked by a small demon who stabs him in the solar plexus. Muichiro attempts to dissuade Kotetsu from trying to help him any further but Kotetsu blows bubbles into the pot, giving him sufficient air to break free. Muichiro realizes the reason Tanjiro seems familiar to him is because he shares the same eye color as his father. 528"The Mu in Muichiro"

His twin brother Yuichiro was embittered by their deaths, becoming cold and distant from him. Kagaya's wife Amane visits to recruit them into the Corps but it provokes Yuichiro, who rants about the fruitlessness of helping others and how they are fated to join their parents in dying a worthless death. One night, a demon found them and wounded Yuichiro. Muichiro, in a blinding rage, defeated the demon and witnessed his brother's last moments, apologizing to him and praying he would survive. The memories cause marks to appear on his face, enhancing his speed and strength.
